My boss, BJO, walked down the hall and handed me a bunch of checks that were all for very little amounts of money. He said that they all decided that my second job [yes, I have a small second part-time job] paid me too much and that all I was going to get was $7 per hour, but in check form I'd get slightly over $11 to compensate for taxes. This wasn't even the boss for my second job. I walked right up to JB, my second job boss, and quit on the spot. I told him it wasn't worth it.
[Note: Dave said that I was talking in my sleep and I was mad about something. Of course, it doesn't help that the rain on our gutters was so loud it made everyone, well, Dave and me, wake up.]
