No help today

The dream starts off in a Hebrew school. Dave is there and we're teaching a class, or trying to teach a class. We have no materials and the other teachers won't help. I distinctly remember a sign that had three English words on it and it was laminated and I couldn't figure out why it was laminated or why it was being used.

Then the dream switches to a walk to cure cancer. I went to the walk, but hadn't realized that it was a 5 day walk and I couldn't get the time off to do the walk. I wanted the "goody" bag and pilfered some of the items, including a hat. I started the walk with the people who raised money and we walked through a sushi bar and a loft until we took a break.

the diaper crisis

I stowed away with Little One on a plane to Europe. I found my brother there and he was getting ready for a birthday party. He decided that he wanted to go back home and I was trying to figure out how to stow away again so I didn't have to pay. Then I was in a contest trying to win diapers for Little One. I had won and the person who was running the contest couldn't find the diapers. She kept looking online and trying to purchase them but they were too expensive and she kept looking. I was in another building and there was an explostion in the store-front we had been in. I was claiming it wasn't us but Dave was standing there with a gun. Someone had planted it on him.

Rockets

I was at a home in a suburban neighborhood. There was a man shooting off rockets that were 10' x 4' and they would fly into the air and explode and send ash on everyone. Everyone watching loved it. He would hold the end and throw it up in the air. One of them didn't go as high as expected and was too low to the ground.
Then I was driving back to camp. I was a camper and there were other campers with me but I wasn't young. I was the age I am now. I was talking about how I missed my kids and the other campers were a little surprised. One girl was getting low blood sugar and we were lost. I drove by a carnival that was just setting up. They were giving the animals medicine. The cows were lined up and had to go up a ramp that had food at the end and they'd put the medicine in their hind end. The sheep were next to them, but they didn't have to go up a ramp. There was a lot of action going on - lots of people and things to see.

A Date

There was a play going on in a house - not your typical stage. There were 5 woman. Two were walking in front, one with a baby stroller and two walking behind. To move the passage of time, two of the women would walk back to another room and then come back into the main room. I have no idea what the play was about, but it was definitely about the passage of time. Then Dave and I were going on a date. There was an old cream colored convertible sitting outside of a mansion. We took a look at it and then went inside to finish getting ready and it started pouring - like the kind of rain where the heavens open up and poor buckets and buckets. It stopped raining, we wiped down the seats and we were on our way.

We were at a waterfall inside a cave. There was water rushing but as soon as you stepped foot into the water, the flow stopped and the wall in the back opened up to reveal treasures and gold.

Oh, and Dave said I woke up in the middle of the night and was telling him how I was talking to a cop. I have been talking in my sleep a lot lately.

Hallowen and an Affair

It was Halloween. Marylin and Uncle Ken came over to help out. We started eating dinner and Uncle Ken had brought pumpkin bread and some other type of bread, both in aluminum toss-away pans. They started trick-or-treating without me. Marylin and Dave took the boys. We were trying to pass out candy, but we kept not turning the porch light on so the kids kept going past our house, even though we were standing outside. Marylin brought Little One home and I was supposed to switch off with Dave to take G around, but they forgot.
Switch to inside a house. There was a guy and he was hitting on me. I liked him back. We had a good conversation and started kissing. We didn't do more than that, kiss, but we spent all night together. Dave was sleeping in the other room and I didn't feel awkward at first, but I did after a while. The guy started looking around my room - he jumped up and messed up some clothes and he wouldn't tell me why. I was starting to get OCD on him taking everything out of place so he stopped and told me that he just wanted to learn more about me. I started putting our shirts back - he had messed up Dave's pile more than mine - when I remembered I had some items in the dryer. I went to the dryer to get them out and forgot that I hadn't taken them out of the white garbage bags that they were in. There were about 5 garbage bags filled with still-wet clothes. There were a few bras and I was relieved when everything was still wet and the underwire in my bras weren't ruined.

Another New Job - Again

I received a call from MH, an old law firm I used to work at. They offered me a lot of money and I took the job in a heartbeat. I had to take a bus to work - downtown. I was sitting at my desk and I didn't have a computer and I didn't know who I was working for. I had nothing to do all day. I kept second-guessing why I took the job when I hated it so much before. When 5:00 came, I left and didn't turn back. I called JB and told him I wanted my job back. He couldn't figure out why I left when my co-worker was on maternity leave and I hated MH before. We were sitting eating lunch, his son was with him, and MH called to see why I had left. He was going to sell me back to MH - he said "How can I make money off of you if I let her come back." MH didn't understand why I quit so soon.

Sukkot

It's Sukkot (a harvest festival where you "party" in a tent-like structure that has an open roof where you can see the stars). I go to an amusement park and bring my own food and the staff helps me find a Sukkah where I can eat. Later in the day I find some friends who are also looking for a Sukkah but, in the building where we're at, they only have a small merry-go-round (kind of like the one in the ice cream parlor at Malley's in N. Olmsted.) They take off everything but the polls and we use the polls for our Sukkah. There's some children there and the mother is off to the side and she looks like she's sleeping. I go over to her and she says that she's not asleep. I pick her up. She has a genetic disorder that leaves her like that and she's a spokesperson for this disorder.

The escape

I was at a house and I was being held captive. I wasn't kidnapped, but I wasn't allowed to leave. I had to escape and some people saw me escaping, but they were helping me. There were two houses close to each other. One was in a valley and the other was on a hill. I had to get to the house on the hill and I had to be in the air to do this - weather a zip line, or floating I'm not quite sure.
