My Brother and a Monster Truck

Dave and I walk into a building and I see my brother. I do a double-take. I'm not sure it's my brother. It looks exactly like my brother, but it's a 3 dimensional advertisement. It's so lifelike, but it's only his head, and not his body. His ad is for a cold rememdy. It features my brother's face smiling. Then he sneezes snot all over the place. Then he's smiling again. I try to take a picture of it but my camera isn't working. The ad changes to a woman and then I see the woman from the ad. I want a picture of her but my camera still won't work. I figure out the shutter won't open so I move it manually. The woman doesn't want her picture taken so she walks right up to me and all I get is a picture of her eye. It's got so many wrinkles (like a sharpei) and is dark underneath her eye.
Then we're in an auditorium or school or something but I don't remember what happens here.
Then we're pulling into a residential driveway. I'm in the middle because I thought it was for only 1 house. It turns out there were 3 or 4 houses back there and a big, white monster trucks comes up out of nowhere, barrelling ahead, and starts honking. I move to the right but the lady thinks she's in England or something. She keeps barrelling toward us. I magically move to the side and narrowly avoid an accident.

Death

With all the death around me, this dream doesn't completely surprise me. Of course, death could also mean change. Maybe change for the better?

My step-dad died. A few days later, my mom also died. The emotions felt real and they were terrible. I was a complete mess. I remember seeing my boss' wife and just telling her with a look. I remember see the temple babysitter walking down the street and rsvp'ing to her Pampered Chef's party. I remember thinking how odd it was that she had to walk so far to where she parked her car (she lives in Shaker and parked in S. Euclid). I remember being surrounded by friends who did everything for me, but not at my house. It felt more like a restaurant.

I'm just hoping that this means change.

A Weddling

It's beena while, but I finally had a dream last night.
Last night I was at Jen and Dion's wedding. I have been friends with Dion since about 1991 or 1992 - about 15 years. In last night's dream Dion had written me a letter about 2 days before his wedding that I didn't receive until after his wedding that mentioned what an amazing person I was, etc., etc., etc. He mentioned that because I was a drifter he knew I would never cheat, but that he had to tell me his feelings. All of his friends had gotten word of his letter. Now, his letter meant a lot to me and I would never cheat, on him or me, but none of his friends knew this and they kept a close watch on us. We were at an apartment and there was a big backyard. I remember I kept going to the backyard. My kids were involved somehow, someone had to watch them, but I don't remember how.
Now, remember, this was only a dream and definitely not reality.

Saturday Night - Motorcycle helmet

Sarah, my sister-in-law, was wearing an orange motorcycle helmet. It was shaped perfectly around her head, but it looked a little odd. I had to send her my helmet to make sure that she was wearing one that fit. The shape and color of the helmet were so important in the dream and I had a sense of urgency of sending her the helmet.

My interpretation of the dream: Sarah is pregnant. I'm worried about her health and the baby's health and I feel that I should be doing something to protect them? It's the instinct of protecting my baby sister and protecting my niece/nephew, whom I love both of very much.

Flying

There was a boy who could fly. We became friends and he would take me and another friend flying with him. One problem we always had was the lack of takeoff space because of all of the overhead wires, but we always managed to find somewhere to fly. We were being chased by "bad guys". It was your typical movie plot. We had to get away, but we needed to separate in order to do so. We almost kissed, but duty called first. We got away, we kissed, it was a happy ending.

Editor's note: First of all, I LOVE flying dreams. Second of all, I LOVE movies where the guy and the girl get together and live happily ever after. Why watch a movie where there isn't a happy ending. Even though we were being chased, to me, this was a good dream. I got the guy in the end. I got to soar above the world. I was happy.

Diamond and a Lottery Ticket

Down at a thing. My family was there. My boss, BJO was there. A well-known FBI druglord (aka Druglord) was there. A cartel drug leader (aka "Really Bad Dude" or "RBD") was there too. RBD wanted me to take a cell phone that had a stolen diamond in it and wrap it up again. Druglord handed me the phone and then I wrapped it up. I wasn't part of the crime, but I was being forced to do what the "bad guys" wanted. When they weren't looking I took the diamond out of the phone. RBD left. I had my opportunity to get away. I got the phone as evidence and walked out with my family. On the way out, RBD was on his way back in so I called BJO and told him to get out because RBD was going to be VERY mad. I had a scheme. I called 911 and then called RBD and the Druglord so that their numbers were on the phone. I was going to the police department, demanded to talk to the Chief and told him I wouldn't say a thing until me and my family were granted police protection. I had them dust the phone for prints and turned the diamond over.
Cut to:
There were winning lottery ticket numbers tattooed on the back of someone, maybe me. Someone was driving a car down an alleyway but there was a lot of traffic and she wasn't trusting. There was a dance studio across from her apartment. The numbers had to be hidden until the winning money came through. She called a close friend, who immediately came over, but he didn't know about the lottery numbers. We had to hide the shoe in the refrigerator vegetable bin to keep it from being seen.
Don't ask me. It was just a dream.
